Beats & Eats unites the community through the universal joys of rhythm and flavour. Creating a vibrant space where dance, food, and connection thrive at the Alchemy Academy every month.

BEATS for the March experience is provided by Levi Banner, a soulful sorcerer who seduces your senses with sacred and sexy shamanic soundscape ceremonies. Historically a hip hop head, he housed, raved, and rocked breakbeats as a B-boy. Weaving a lifetime of musicality with sharmanic experience to create an elevated ecstatic experience and enlivening everyone with his eclectic electronic and live DJ exhibitions. Initially out of Oregon, USA, Levi is now a nomadic facilitator, navigating a nonstop nation exploration.

Supporting the BEATS are Plant-Based EATS prepared by Rina, the head chef at Alchemy Ubud. The sumptuous lunch banquet features nutritious food options and supports local farmers and businesses.

Enjoy connecting over food - a bridge that connects us to others and a source of joy that nourishes both the body and soul. 

EVENT SCHEDULE:

• 11 am - Arrival  + welcome Mocktails 🍹
• 11.30 - Ecstatic Dance with Levi 
• 1 pm: Plant-based Buffet and Connection
• Event Close 3 pm.

 There is a pool and a beautiful garden to hang out in. If you intend to use the pool, please come prepared with towels and swimwear.

Ecstatic dance is a safe container for movement and expression. Let go of expectations and judgments - All of you is welcome.

• Be present - Avoid using phones.
• Be embodied - don't Talk
• Be Clear - Avoid Intoxicants like alcohol
• Be aware - flow with others and the Space
• Be open to connection

Venue Information:

Alchemy Academy hosts culinary immersions for raw and cooked plant-based food. It is aligned with the Alchemy restaurant and the Yoga and Meditation Centre in Ubud, located 5-minutes down the road towards Nyuh Kunning.  Please check Google Maps, if you are arriving by car, please get dropped off at the end of the driveway. If you have a scooter, head on down and park at the gates.
